Lens Babies and Blossoms
It was such a beautiful weekend that I pulled out the lensbaby and went out back to take a few shots of my apple tree in full blossom. The deer have started their official countdown waiting for the apples at the end of the summer. I have yet to get to eat one but maybe the tree will be tall enough one day to keep a few out of their reach.

My dad used to tie a couple pie plates to our cherry trees to keep the birds out. It might make the deer go away or just look really ugly like our cherry tree. I'm not sure I get the lens baby thing but it's a nice shot anyway. Can't you do the focus thing in PS easier. As an ACE maybe I can help you. Being you're number one fan there of course would be no charge. There's this other guy Scott Kelby or something, he's supposed to be pretty good. Maybe you BUY one of his books. mike

OK you've had three days to post since ST. Louis. Let's see your best shot of the Arch. I had to shoot mine through a moving car's window. Still, it Rocks!!!

Of course you can achieve a similar look in PS, but photos are composed with a camera, a lens and a good eye - not a Mac. $250 bucks for a 3G Lens Baby is a bargain. People will gravitate toward those images a heck of a lot quicker than they will to ones taken with $1000 plus Nikon glass. Don't care how good you are... Shoot, have fun...
